Painting the Wall

This is Mel. He's doing one of his wonderful pieces on the fourth & clay outside wall. He'll be doing a new production on Saturday and Sunday May 3 and 4 as part of our Seconds Sale Extravaganza. Diana, rae, Whitney, Susannah, Nancy la Rose and I are working madly on new work and we'll have tons of slightly wonky seconds for you bargain hunters. Please come join us.

We Have Power

Thursday the PG&E crew arrived and we FINALLY got our kilns hooked up. We've been working on this since last May. The long bureaucratic nightmare is now over and fourth & clay is cookin!

New Blog and Baby News....

I am so in love with Mr Harry Potter. We brought him home on Sunday and have been in baby dog euphoria ever since. Michele asked for a photo so here he is....
Don't you think he looks like a little bear? He is such a little guy (8 weeks old) that I can't take him to fourth & clay yet. He has to be 12 weeks old and totally safe from a nasty virus called Parvo....pooh! John isn't complaining though about having to baby sit. I do promise that this blog won't become solely about Mr Potter and his adventures. Maybe he'll have to get his own blog like his soon to be friend Wilma.

Think Green

Spring is here and the world seems to be bursting with one of my very favorite colors...that almost vile shade of yellowish baby sprout green. This Saturday being the first Saturday of the month, fourth & clay will officially be open from 11 -5. We've put out some great new work, moved things around a bit and the gallery is looking elegante. Please stop by for a look at all things green and otherwise. rae and I will be the ones with the clean (maybe) aprons!
