Me in John's Havana hat in the afternoon sun.
I had a perfect weekend in Palo Alto.
The weather was fabulous and the crowds great at the ACGA Clay and Glass Festival.
My booth was under a tree. The dappled sun light looked great on my tree plates.
No wind was strong enough to blow over any of my pieces. In previous years I have tended to go overboard on the top heavy flowers/branches and have balanced narrow bottomed vases on tippy logs to give my booth height. This year I learned my lesson. With a few lovely, gnarly branches and opting for a shorter display I didn't have to worry when the breezes blew. Best of all - sales were brisk and comments positive.
Thank you all.
A very special thanks to my husband, John, who is the best booth loader/unloader, lunch getter, photographer, volunteer job filler and general all round great guy/good sport.
It was great meeting so many Josie Goes To Pot readers.
Thank you all for introducing yourselves.
It's fun to know who's reading my ramblings.
Now we're off to the mountains until September.
Lake Tahoe here we come.
My favorite tea pot sold to Chineese Clay Art to be included in a teapot exhibition in Taiwan.
Sometimes it's hard to let my favorites go.

congratulations on being included in the exhibition in China - it is hard to let go of a good piece and that is a lovely teapot :^)
