Welcome 2011

I'm ready ....
Time to eat black eyed peas and dream up adventures for 2011.
Time to think about taking some inspiring workshops...here are the 2 that will kick start my year:

Starting with this soda firing workshop with Sandy Simon and Bob Brady at Trax in January.

In February Forrest Lesch-Middleton will be coming to fourth & clay....

I love Monday

AHHHH Sweet, Quiet, Monday. The clay studio I share with Christa and rae, fourth & clay, is next door to VIKS Chaat House - probably the most popular Indian restaurant in the BAy Area. The food is good and inexpensive. VIKS moved next door to us last January so this is the first Holiday season we've had them as neighbors. The 2,000+ people who walk by our studio on Saturday and Sunday are usually HUNGRY and not really interested in buying handmade pots but this seems to have changed a little for the Holidays. We've been insanely busy. Now if we could just get the restaurant to stop announcing customer's names over their super LOUD PA system that vibrates through our walls we'd be happy campers. Mondays VIKS is closed. It's a giant, quiet sigh of relief.

The little movie above of my pitcher was made by my husband John Schnick for a light show he did for the fourth & clay Holiday CUP show opening.
