It's Beginning.....

It still a bit early to be bringing up the Holidays but every day in Berkeley, even though it is sunny and warm, it's beginning to look a little more like Christmas. Whatever happened to waiting until Thanksgiving to start playing Silent Night or stringing lights on the neighborhood trees? I guess I am showing my age here.

Our Christmas tree is a huge mishmash of wonderful stuff and lights including some ancient bubble ones. Some of my favorite ornaments are random school pictures of my 3 kids (I love the one of my son Ezra during his heavy metal phase), glass ornaments that resemble pets long passed, stuffed frogs, a biscuit made by my godson, Andre (when he was 3), that looks like a turd. You get the picture - it's not exactly reverent.

For the past few years I have been making and selling a special edition ceramic ornament. This year I am making UNDERWEAR. I am loving these - polka dot boxers, tightie whities, corsets with or with out fishnest, bra and pantie sets, slips. They are drawn with mishima on both front and back and wired with nicron wire.
