Packing Up

somewhere in the wilds of Nevada

The road trip is over. We saw moose, elk, eagles, deer, buffalo, trees changing colors and the wide open roads of Nevada, Utah, Wyoming and Colorado. We hiked in the mountains, dined in funny little highway cafes and visited my super Colorado family. It was a wonderful adventure.

We're back in Tahoe packing up the tons of stuff we hauled up here three months ago - pottery is not a very portable profession. Tomorrow is our last day of summer mountain living for this year....back to Berkeley, wearing shoes and having to comb my hair!

Packing up the last bisque firing...here is a sneak peek of a few pieces from a series I am working on inspired by shadows and textile patterns and Molly Hatch's fourth & clay workshop.
